Beekeeping Shed

We run a beekeeping activity in our college. We need a small outdoor storage shed, not big at all, just a couple of tools and such and possibly a tiny table if need be. We have a unbelievably small budget and would probably struggle to spend more than 80 pounds. We are willing to build it from scratch with raw materials.

How can we go about it the best way? What materials would I need? Can I do it realistically on my budget?

I won't say it's impossible, but 80 pounds is a rather tight budget. There are two factors that will make or break this: 1) can you get by with a very small structure? 2) can you be extremely resourceful with materials and resources?

Start by figuring out your exact needs with regard to size and be sure to check out my article on how to build a cheap shed. You may be able to make use of a set of free shed plans ... like this free set of plans for an 8x10 shed. It might even be possible to shorten the design to fit your budget.
