CSS Tweaks
I'm fiddling around with the CSS on my individual archive pages. Lets see what this looks like.
The art of web design has come a long way in the ten years since I started spitting out code. I build most of my pages with a mix of hand-coding and WYSIWYG editing. While the automated HTML editors can still be a hit or miss process at times, they're useful for speeding up the flow of design.
One of these days, I'm going to update Looking Good on the Web and place the whole thing on a website. I've been threatening to do this for years. The rights to the book reverted to me after the demise of the Coriolis Group.
Of course, it needs a thorough updating. While I have all of the original files (word docs, GIF and JPEG graphics, and HTML code) on Zip disks (remember those?), I'd probably need to throw out a huge portion of the existing work.
Things sure have changed ...
