September 18, 2003Isabel ain't my belleLegend has it that Paul McCartney wrote Michelle about his old english sheepdog. If there's any dog that could inspire a love song, it's a sheepdog. Yip and Yap, on the other hand, inspire the theme music from Gremlins. Isabel is bearing down on the east coast, and I'm wondering why the Weather Channel isn't playing Jimi's Izabella ... it sure got Yip and Yap a yapping. I'm hoping we don't end up with the rain that Floyd wrought and that my garden shed doesn't take off like a refugee from the Wizard of Oz. If it does, I'll just have to look for a new set of shed plans. On the work front, the latest book is rolling along. Can't tip the hat just yet, but it's very cool. Oh, and I gained a new character and key scene for my epic mockumentary, this week, too. Honestly, I don't have to write this stuff. It writes itself ...
