Italy Soccer Jerseys

I've seen some absolutely crazy prices for Italy soccer jerseys over the past few days. It's to be expected, I suppose, that the bids would run up on eBay in the frenzy after the World Cup finals. Ten dollar knockoffs closing at five times the price. Ouch.

But there's one trend I haven't seen yet ...

Why are there so few Materazzi hero jerseys? Totti, Pirlo, Gattuso, Maldini, Inzaghi, Vieri, Toni, Cannavaro, Del Piero, Baggio, there are plenty ... but Materazzi jerseys?

Few and far between. But it seems that their scarcity makes the Materazzi jerseys a rare ticket ... one that drives up bid prices all on its own. One would think that the Thai heat presses would be whirring with Italy #23 shirts.

A vicious headbutt to the opponent's chest will forever be known as Zindane's signature move. Any soccer-crazed kid worth his boots can show you a Cryuff or a Maradona. In a fit of anger, Zindane has given the thugs a new card for their deck.
