June 22, 2006Mexoryl SunscreenWhile Mexoryl sunscreen may not be approved for sale in the United States, it is available worldwide. So why does the FDA prevent products containing Mexoryl from being sold here, while the governments in Canada, Japan, and Europe have no problem with it? What's up with that? What happened to by the people, for the people? If there's a product -- like Mexoryl -- that helps prevent melanoma, I'm all for giving it a try. I'll talk the talk, walk the walk, and slather on the sunscreen, thank you. My L'Oréal Ombrelle was ordered on a Thursday and arrived the following Monday, from an unnamed source.
When they outlaw the most effective sunscreen, all the folks who use that sunscreen will be outlaws. After all, "I'm the one that's got to die when it's time for me to die, so let me live my life (and choose the sunscreen) I want to ..." |
