Photoshop is a deep deep program--that's why specialized Photoshop training is so important. On the surface, Photoshop can be deceptively simple. Beware those folks that sell themselves as being experts in Photoshop -- while they may indeed be experts in a specific area, with such a huge encompassing program, it is quite difficult to be an expert in all fields.

An expert in web graphics, for example, may have no specific Photoshop training, as it relates to prepress. And even today, the reverse may still hold true.
