July 05, 2004Plans for my ShedMy shed plans are still on hold. I've started pricing out lumber for the board and batten cedar siding, but I haven't gotten very far. I need to take exact measurements and figure out what I'm going to do with the shed doorway. The swinging shed door has seen some better days, to be sure. I was thinking about moving the doorway to the center of the long wall ... Rockler has some interesting hardware for a sliding barn door. The hardware's a bit pricey, but it looks sweet. I couldn't find my tape measure(s) last week when I went to measure the shed, so I picked up a new one at the hardware store. Of course, as soon as I got home, I found the two I was missing. How many times has that happened to you? Can't find a tool, buy a replacement (on a whim), then find the original immediately after you return from the store. Deja vu, all over again! :) Posted by geekbooks at July 5, 2004 11:35 AM |
