Rubbermaid Storage Shed

While you won't find a Rubbermaid storage shed here at Rancho Indebto, I can certainly understand why they're so popular. There's probably no quicker way to store stuff in the backyard, short of simply throwing the junk behind the pine trees. Rubbermaid storage sheds go up fast and are quite durable. Unpack it, snap it together and you're done. Because they are not permanent structures, you won't need to bother with a town permit, in all likelihood. (YMMV however ... you should always check with your town before starting a shed project.)

Rubbermaid storage sheds come in a variety of shapes and sizes. But forget about color flexibility -- the company sticks with their standard beige and green tones, for the most part. If you don't take a cotton to beige walls and a green roof, you're out of luck.

Ditto if you need a big storage shed. Rubbermaid units are best for small backyard storage needs. The company's range tops out rather quickly.

The exception, Rubbermaid's Roughneck Modular Large Vertical Outdoor Storage Shed might have a big name, but at a width of 5 and a half feet, a depth of 6 feet, and a height of six and a half feet, it's still a relatively small storage shed. But if you don't like green, you're in luck, however -- the unit ships in dark platinum with a mocha roof. While this model's an option for the DIY-adverse, you could easily build a wood shed of equal size from scratch for half the price.
