Sheds

An Ode to Sheds.

There's a lot to be said for sheds.
They come in all sizes and shapes
And are known by many names.
The Unabomber hid in his from the feds
You can see his little building in the tapes
Other than Walden, it held the most fame

From the utilitarian storage shed
To the most plush cabana
They're a place to store stuff,
And a place to chill your head
While catching a cold one or eating a banana
You can get all grungy and look really rough

There aren't quite as many different kinds of backyard sheds
as there are fish in the ocean,
but there sure are a lot of different species of sheds,
and debating the value of one or the other can cause a commotion.

Some folks might call theirs a garden shed,
or perhaps a backyard storage building.
You can paint your barn any color from snow white to bright red.
Whether you build from shed plans or resort to a shed kit.
There's no doubt you can find a storage shed or garden barn to fit.

Some sheds are big, some sheds are small.
Some folks like to build their sheds short,
I like to build my sheds tall.
My poetry is lame, I will freely admit
Perhaps out in my shed, I will go sit.
