Steep Pitch Shed Roof

Steeply pitched shed roofs make lots of sense for at least two very practical reasons. A steep pitch allows for the maximum amount of overhead storage space, and it's great for areas that are prone to extreme winter conditions. Shallow angled roofs may have trouble shedding snow and ice, while a steeply angled pitch can more easily shed its burden.

Do you know anyone who manufacturers a shed with a steep pitch roof? I also need sides that are not less than 80 inches high. I only need a 8 by 10 outside diameter shed.

Unfortunately, steeply pitched sheds can be hard to find. The vast majority of designs use less extreme roofs to accommodate transportation and other factors. Their gain is your loss.

The best bet may be to build from scratch, using a well-designed set of shed plans. This will allow you to get the exact shed you need, rather than compromising for what the prefab merchants want to sell you. If you're not comfortable with building it yourself, you should be able to find a local shed builder or contractor to knock it together in a few days.
