Structured Settlements, Revisited

When I wrote about structured settlements last week, I never thought I'd get a response like this in my email:

"I have people looking online for insurance settlements. I am looking for one reputable company to position, who can handle some more business. If you can help me please, call me at the number below."

(name, firm, and phone number withheld)

Needless to say, I didn't call. I'm not sure why they sent me that email. I did send them an email back, to ask about it, however. It would appear that the structured settlement business is mighty large, indeed.

Update: I never heard from the firm again.
