Will Build Web Sites (or Sheds) for Food

Thinking about creating a website of your own? In today's wild web world, you can get started for less money and in less time than you might think. With as little as a few hours and few dollars per month you can be well on your way to building your very own web empire. It's never been easier to build a site that can work for you while you sleep ...

I started out a decade ago as a common webmonkey. Yes indeed, I was working for the man.

It was expensive for little guys to run their own web sites in those early days.

Times certainly have changed.

While I've built and maintained dozens of sites over the years, my portfolio over the last few years has been fairly light. But I've been much busier with small web development projects in the first half of this year and things look to be picking up.

In speaking with clients, the same questions come up, over and over ...

  • How much does it cost to host a web site?
  • What kind of web server should I get?
  • How do I register a domain name? How much should it cost?

So I sat down and took a look at all the stuff I've written about web hosting over the past couple of years and pulled a bunch of links to my assorted web hosting articles together ...
